       Working Title: What is Theatre/re? (And How Do You Spell It?) (In Progress)

Developing a comprehensive Open Educational Resource (OER) textbook tailored for the UNA Cinematic Arts & Theatre Department. Project approved by Department Chair to replace commercial texts for all CAT 210 sections, impacting up to 350 students annually, with intended implementation in either Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. Focuses on:

• Modular Design: A "Living Textbook" architecture that integrates curated digital archives and external scholarly excerpts, ensuring the curriculum remains current and reduces long-term maintenance.

• Interactive Pedagogy: Built-in discussion prompts designed to support social annotation tools (ex: Hypothesis), fostering a collaborative "social reading" environment and increasing student engagement in both in-person and online modalities.​
